CORVSMB Missions Folder

Everyone is welcome to join #CorvSMB each Friday at 4-6 PM at the Intersector Workspace in Corvallis where we help each other, exchange ideas and explore opportunities the group to help Corvallis. Its all very informal and social (see the photo below by Joe Magner).

#CorvSMB also organizes structured events or “missions” each month with the intent of encouraging everyone to participate. Some of these occur live (in 3D) and others happen online. Check out the events and “missions” below.

Just a quick comment related to a topic of last Friday’s “meeting”. There was some pondering about why more people don’t leave comments on blogs. I believe it is because people are afraid of looking dumb in public forum. Just my guess. I hope you don’t think it’s dumb.

I meant to say “are afraid of looking dump in A public forum”. You see what I mean?

I admit Carol, that I struggled with that at first. I usually comment if I have a question or I feel comfortable with a subject. I have now come to accept it as a conversation. I have typed out many comments and then deleted them before posting. I guess it all comes down to personal filters.

Carol, you appear to me as a brave and motivated person willing to do something uncomfortable in order to contribute. That is an inspiration to me.

    Ditto. Thanks for commenting Carol.

Carol: totally agree. Like many things in life all it takes is practice. Thanks for commenting!
