Mission Briefing: Spotlight on Social Locations with Yelp

Background:
We have called them many names: campfires, speakeasys, taverns, lodges, watering holes, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, diners, and lounges. These are the places were we come together and create ideas, projects, partnerships, affection, trust and community. In many ways these meeting places are the core of our personality and culture in Corvallis.

corvallis-cornerMission Objectives:

  • Seize control of the online media available for Social Locations in Corvallis.
  • Light a signal fire marking Social Locations in Corvallis for the world to see.

Tactical Directives:

  1. Create your own user account with http://www.yelp.com.
  2. Write a Yelp review for a Social Location in Corvallis.

  5. Repeat steps 2-4 as often as you can. This mission file will formally close on May 1st.
